When I started doing research for this project I found a book called "Playing with type" that gives you exercises to explore typography beyond the computer. The images on the left are my explorations about how you can create meaning by placing typefaces within the environment.

I used the same word for every picture to see how by changing the background the meaning or intention of the word changes. In the first image the word "curiosity" is about happiness, exciting and joy. The second one plays with the saying "curiosity killed the cat" is about danger. And third one about gossips.
I took that exercise further and I create this illustration. It is only a way of explore the importance of typography within graphic design. The word "roses" give us information of the rest of the image, maybe without this word we would't realise that the pattern are actually roses.
After those experiments I had a look some motions and videos because it was something that I wanted to explore in depth and maybe use it for my final outcome.
Mi first idea was to make an animation in After effects, I never used this software before so I book a workshop in the university. I started to experiment with after effects:
